If you are playing a Submarine, approach the last know position of the bot Sub go fully submerged (below periscope depth) and then pop your Hydro to spot it. Mark the location if you know it and call for support. If the bot Submarine became blinded and dormant, you need a player Submarine to spot it. If possible, engage and kill the bot Submarine before finishing the surface bots (spotters). Look for them there in case you have last known location. It will remain near the location where it became "blinded". ![]() Once all the surface ship (spotters) are destroyed, the bot submarine will remain inactive until spotted/engaged. ![]() Submerged submarines are "blind", they depend on other ships to spot targets. They won't spot submerged Submarines when surfaced, they need to also be underwater. They proxy spot at 2 km and Hydro spot at 6 km, WHEN SUBMERGED. Only Submarines can reliably detect submerged Submarines. Please share this basic info with your fellow captains if they are having a hard time dealing with Submarines.Ĭurrently, surface ship Hydro can't detect submerged Submarines. I've seen a lot of clueless players aimlessly wandering around once the surface bots get killed, this is a waste of time and engenders a lot of frustration. ![]()
